The invitation is the first thing your guests will see and it sets the tone for your event. Make sure it’s the perfect one to represent your event. When browsing our selection, note that each of Paper Style’s invitations has an “Add To Maybes” section to help keep you organized in your search for the right invitation. Here are some questions to ponder during the selection process: Is the event formal or informal? Are there special colors being used? Is there a theme for the event? How many guests are you inviting?
Once you have selected your invitation, it’s time to decide whether Paper Style will print the invitations for you or you will print them yourself. Paper Style offers thermography, which is a raised print that creates a nice quality of texture on the invitation. Our in-house production time is among the fastest in our industry. An order typically only takes 1 – 3 business days in-house before shipping. Additionally, Paper Style offers a free e-proof for your order. Our innovative E-proof system allows you to view and make changes to your proof online at no additional charge. We will not print the order until you are satisfied with the E-proof and you submit your approval to go to press.
Listed below are some things to consider before placing your order:
-
How many extra invitations should I order?
From years of experience, we recommend the following guidelines: For weddings, we suggest ordering 20 to 30 extra invitations. For everyday invitations or announcements, we suggest ordering 10 to 20 extra invitations or announcements.
-
What if I am not pleased with my order?
Paper Style guarantees every product it sells, 100%. If you are not pleased with the final product, we will gladly provide a replacement, offer a refund or an exchange.
-
What if I need more invitations after I receive my order?
When additional invitations are needed after the order has been printed and shipped, it is treated as a new order. Although your information is in our database, new press film must be developed as well as new press set-ups. We treat these instances with care and will work with you on a reduced cost.
Social Invitations Timeline Suggestions:
- Mailing Social Invitations – We recommend mailing social invitations 3 - 4 weeks prior to the event.
- Ordering Social Invitations – We recommend ordering social invitations 7 - 8 weeks prior to the event.
Wedding Invitations Timeline Suggestions:
- Mailing Wedding Invitations – We recommend mailing wedding invitations 6 - 8 weeks before the wedding. For invitations that are extra thick or have embellishments on them, we strongly recommend having the envelopes hand canceled at the post office.
- Ordering Wedding Invitations – We recommend ordering wedding invitations 2 – 12 months before the wedding.
- Save the Date Cards – We recommend mailing Save the Date cards 3 – 12 months prior to the wedding. The cards should not appear as an invitation (the invitation will be sent later) and should include only the basic important information such as the name of the Bride and Groom, the date of the event and the location. Save the Date cards are a great way to inform traveling guests of hotel and airline information.
